can work large box, small box, field replacebale cone so you can recone yourself in 5 minutes versus sending it in, paying freight back and forth and waiting 3 days to 3 weeks for a recone, and handle the power.

PS had that same setup, 12"X and 2600 watts, very, very loud...ported box.

pros what pole cat sayed and gets very very loud. cons- depending on the person and muscial taste sq is not the favorite of most but some say its perfectly fine.

SPL Based sub, not to say it doesnt sound decent, but its not running in the pack with SQ subs half its price.

Kinda ugly IMHO

only cons i can think of are the price and the fact that you will need a great electrical system to get to its full potential.

I know, we need a 15"...

on the electrical part, with any SPL sub with alot fo power, electrical will always be an issue, not just with the Solo X

Efficent? not really.

that is like calling an MT or RL-S efficent.
