Pro's and Con's with 0awg wire?

cause a friend of mine bout a 4ga kit for his hifonics 1500.1 and the sent him 8 ga...so he called the company and they sent them a 0ga in return of the 8
So he bought 4 gauge but they sent him 8 gauge then exchanged it for 0 gauge?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif With over 1000 watts he probably could benefit from 0 gauge anyway.

if you have too much surface area and you are not utilizing it most of the time, you can get some resistance from the wire. other than that not too much. also if you have a itty bitty alt and do a big 3 upgrade, you will worsen dimming and such. due to the resistance factor and other things I don't fully understand.
so your saying doing the big 3 in 0/1 will make dimming lights worse?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
