didn't know there were any... maybe... the size? No cons really.

the only real negative i could think of would be the cost of it. it can be kinda high depending on where and what you buy.

also running it can be a little tricky too with it being pretty thick and tends to be a little hard to hide under carpet but can be done.

but once paid for and installed no cons i could think of

cause a friend of mine bout a 4ga kit for his hifonics 1500.1 and the sent him 8 ga...so he called the company and they sent them a 0ga in return of the 8

if you have too much surface area and you are not utilizing it most of the time, you can get some resistance from the wire. other than that not too much. also if you have a itty bitty alt and do a big 3 upgrade, you will worsen dimming and such. due to the resistance factor and other things I don't fully understand.

I would say the only con's would be the cost and running it to wherever you want it to go (but still that isn't that hard)...but you can find pretty good deals online and it isn't thaaat expensive

I use to cut my 0awg with a circular saw until i bought a cable cutter. Cutting power wire is such a breeze now.
