Pros & Cons for a low tuned(~28hz) box

Yes. I had my Hx2 and my XXX tuned to 32hz. Great responce from both on hiphop.

did they still get low @ 32hz?

id tune 32-34 for the L7.

i find around 35Hz to be good for all types of music and this is after testing numerous boxes and tuning

IMO don't go lower than 32-33Hz

@TRIGGER - wat did u think of the HX2 subs cos i can get a very good deal on a pair of 15's

Nothing bad to say at all. If I had the chance I would pick up 2 again. In fact where you getting those 15's???????

Ask Tobias (SBLAZER) or Mark (spkrman) what they think of a box for a 06 L7. I'm sure they have done some testing since they joined team kicker.

Only reason I would choose a type-r over a Hx2 would be warranty. It would be near impossible to get a warranty on the Hx2 because it is no longer produced.

But they can take some abuse:naughty:

i'd tune to 35.....tis what my bad boy is tuned to....and boy does it go wang.

34-35 will still wang out and get pretty low.. at least LNT low, and anything lower than that is very rare and far between.

my old school w6s are tuned to 27hz just like JL says to do..i have no problems hits low and hard
