Pros & Cons for a low tuned(~28hz) box

Really,Why is that?
Because each sub will react differently in any given box. Due to the speakers design and environment it is used in.

The roll off in a low ported box would be a lot lower due to the tuning frequency. In most cases it would yield a little more low end output. But less output in the higher frequency range.

Think smoother transient response. Much better in a SQ point of view.

Songs with higher bass notes?
Think hiphop.

A lot of songs have bass in the 40hz range. If you have a lower tuned box, the output @ that range is decreased.

It really depends on what musical taste the user has. Also what speaker they are using.

like around what freq would you consider higher frequency?
