Well I'm picking up this classic 1976 Corvette Stingray with a tad over 60,000 miles on the clock for my birthday...but the one thing that has to go will be the factory AM/FM radio....I know I'll be cramped for space but I hope to do a pretty nice build in it....One of my concerns is electrical noises....In the system , I've heard these cars are bad for that...any input ?

I prefer pre 68 vettes myself....but after seeing this one being so nice and original...I figured I'd give it a try.....at least its not the 78-81 bubble back model...though that would've been a little more stereo friendly in the hatch

ANY Chevrolet is bad about elictrical whine.

EDIT:

All you have to do is groujnd the RCAs or make a better ground then the factory one.

Please tell me you will leave the stock radio in the dash and bypass it so you dont fuck up the interior, or that you will keep the stock radio.

Not in my experience... Monte carlo...Malibu...Caprice....Pontiac Firebird...none of em had noise issues..
