project pimpedout97: 4 15" mts walled off

its been welded in more. the bottom pieces are in now as well. i know the welds are ugly i know, but they seem to hold up good.

and the upper 4 link mounts will be braced more.

as well as the crossmember in between the notches.

ive got more pics here

http://realmofexcursion.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22375

again, not the best welds, but hes bagged alot of trucks/suvs and never had a weld of his break, so i trust him..hes putting hydro's on his impala and had a bagged explroer and is bagging his s10 now...

only thing i want to do, im guessing its how we have the 4 link setup, but when its slammed (look at the pics on ROE on page 3, post 26) and youll see how the back tires go in towards the door when slammed. at ride height, they are perfectly centered.

what you think jon?

I think those tires are HUGE. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Could just be the pics, but the upper bars should be 30* angled, or as close as possible, to keep the axel centered.

As for the tire moving, it could be that the upper bars need to be extended some. When it goes down, does the tire kinda roll forward? If so, make the uppers longer.

**Thats a basic description od how to do it. Lots of measuring needed**

Who is doing the bagging job for ya? I might know them or know of them.

And I saw some other pics of the notch, I see it is getting all boxed in. Good job. If the frame isn't boxed in, I suggest doing it at least 1 -2 feet on either end of the notch.

friend of mine doing the bagging. he doesnt have a shop or anything yet.

but ya i think we need to adj the links. the 4 link was made to use the long bars on top, and shorts on bottom. well we couldnt get that to work, so we put the longs on bottom, and shorts on top.....thats prally why.
