I think I would go for a bandpass, and build it so it had those little useless chambers on each side of the port so I could stuff batteries in there.

I think you should give the 3 15s design a shot before you roast a pair of 15s on 4kw.

Im not going to feed them power they cant take. thats just childish

And the original plan was doing 3 15's first, but the only 3 15's i have at hand are dual 4's (2.67 final load)

Why would you not wire the coils of the 15's in parallel for a .67 load? I'm pretty sure the sundown will do it and with rise you should really be fine.

I ran my 1500Ds at .35 daily and they didnt shut off once. You are fine @ .67.
