Profile Amps Any Good

I have a Alpine Type R 12" with a 300 watt rms and a 1000 watt peak and I was wondering if a Profile CL 600M would be a good amp. I dont know much about Profile and I want something that will push this thing good.

A Profile would be nice for your highs, but as long as the JBL's are selling for their current price I'd go in that direction.

i think in another post you said that money was an issue. and that you want cheap! if you are going for a profile amp then look at the 600MSX. it is a mono amp that puts out 410w rms x 1 @ 2ohm. i am going to get one as soon as i can raise some money. around 130.00 at my local circuit city.

my first amp was a profile 800sx and it was great for what i needed

never had any problems with it

Hey man, from what I have heard, Profile's are good. The worst that can happen is that U dont like em, so take em back. I know a guy running 2, 12" kickers of a 300watt profile, and he is satisfied. So, u can always give em a shot, and they arent too pricey either. Hope I can help.............

My 600MSX is in the mail at this very moment, when i get it hooked up to my 12" Type R I'll let you know how i like it.

glad to see you took my advice on the 600msx... let me know how you like it because i just got a job and will be replacing my mtx asap!
