Problems!??!

hehe i just dont like to assume much

ok as to the subs cutting out this will happen with premier subs when you are distorting the hell out of them turning the gains down was the right thing to do.

since your subs are single 4 ohm your running a 2 ohm load for 360wrms .

each sub getting 180wrms you will get decent boom but you would be better off with either two of those amps each sub getting 250wrms@4ohm or one amp that will do closer to 800wrms @ 2 ohm .

and as always set your gains right with a dmm the tutorial is in the subwoofer section

Are you maybe hgave voltage drops? I had three amps in my last truck and when i would turn it up higher, the amps would cut out but not shut off. But when I turned it back down the subs would be normal again. MAybe check that.
could be but at only 360wrms i doubt it . whats the max current draw on that amp? 40amps?

i am pretty sure is 30 amps...shes got two 30 amp fuses in it...... and ya i set the gains very good... and now everything seems to be going better.... sad thing is that i sold my other amp.. i had two of the 800 amps, and the two subs that i am running right now.. guess i shouldve kept it... oh well... its p.l.e.n.t.y enoguh bass for my dad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
