problems with zx1000.1

So recently i finished building my box for my l5 15". i wired everyting up and everything went smoothly. the amp i used is zx1000.1. my problem is the the sub only goes loud if the volume is low and will not hit at all when the volume is turned up at all. i am useing a line out converter. any suggestions. please....

Sounds like clipped signal possibly?

Turn down the gain, Can the L5 even take that much power?

yeah im pretty sure it can. but ive tried messing around with my gain ill try again though. thanks for the input. any other suggestions?

Is the LOC hooked up to one or two speakers?
