No good man. My cousin had one when they first came out and it burnt a ring in 4 games and made them useless.....got it returned for a better working one tho....no compensation for the games.

i also talked to m/s about a similar issue. they do have a disk replacment program, but its 20.00/game which i think is crap, but i suppose it depends on how much i like the game and how much it'd be to replace it.

completely happy with my PC rig, never going to consoles again! 2+ years and counting and my 7800 GT OC is still playing games flawlessly.

ehh, not a fan of pc games most of the time. dont like having to search for buttons on the keyboard while im gaming.

On the plus side of the 360 issue, they will replace all the internal componets with the next gen componets and give me a new 1 yr warranty on eveyrthing for the 99.00. That is considerably cheaper than buying a new 360(which im considering buying a 2nd one for my son anyways)

Meh, I wouldn't waste 99 dollars or get a 2nd one. I would just get a PS3 and call it a day. I am sure you have nothing but xbox games though.

I have both systems and loved my 360 for the most part till I got a PS3. I seldom play the 360 much anymore. Is already sold to a friend of mine when I decide to get rid of it, but keeping it till more games come available on the PS3 for now.

I had to send my xbox back once as well for something. I can't even remember, but wouldn't turn on. They took like a month to fix it and send it back.

Also my PS3 is much quieter than the 360.

Both good systems, just like the PS3 better, plus blu-ray FTW!

i dont watch dvd's so the blu ray/hd dvd wars mean nothing to me. i have no desire to purchase a ps3 and probably never will.

Lol. Thats what I said.. Recently switched from PC to console... I PC'd for like 3 years. Decided I liked playing games in 1080p on a big screen while comfortably sitting on my couch..

Also have the ability to have fun with it w/ friends... And you don't need to worry about your hardware going out of date every couple months..
