Problems with kw-v21bt jvc double din

Hello first time posting and came on to find an answer because jvc help center only does camcorders for some odd reason. Even though the phone selections give you an option of camcorders or "everything else". Then they gave me a number for the east coast which was pointless.

I just installed this unit and everything works as it should but the audio. Nothing comes through for anything except the radio.

At first I didn't hook up the parking break wire because I wasn't going to watch DVDs anytime soon. So I did last night to see if DVDs gave me audio but still nothing. And of course the speakers work and everything is hooked up right as the unit gives me the standard beeping sounds and the radio comes through no problem.

Any ideas?

on the radio side connect the blue white to the car side blue or blue white. seems like the blue on the radio side is connected which is the power antenna wire and will only supply 12v when in radio tuner mode. blue white supplies power when any source is selected

Alright thanks I'll try it tomorrow and get back. I'm sure I hooked up the power antenna to the right one but I'll switch it around and see what happens. Thanks for your advice.

Your advice helped 100% there's 2 wires on the back of the deck. One is solid blue and is a 14v power supply. It's the one I hooked up as the wire on the harness was solid blue as well.

The other one was blue with a white stripe. And switching to that one worked perfectly. I didn't attach it because it said it was for amplifiers. The solid blue said it was for power antenna.
