problems with HU of alpine line 2005

its because alpine has the new agreement with Circut City, the quality of there products has dropped because they are being mass produced to meet the demand.

Their products **** now, at least the lower end ones as their being mass produced.

Yeah, thats whats going on, your best bet on getting good alpine products made after 2004 is to go with there F1 Status equipment, but there in lies a problem, because you just about have to buy everything F1 for any of it to work properly, Ex. The CD Players need the media expander, and if you want to control the amps at the HU you need the CD player and the Media expander. So they kinda make you buy alot of stuff just to get one thing. So your best bet is to buy 2004 equipment.

what about 2003 alpines? is the 2003 line as good as the 2004?

i have one 9815... is it as good as say a 9835?

i have a 9843, lower line 2005 model. its fine

i even drop the **** faceplate. it sounds great and works flawlessly.

a few weeks ago i just drove from california to texas (20 hours), blasting my music all day without issues

i dont understand whats wrong with the 2005 models. i dont have one but i havent read any problems except for the 9855 not spitting out CDs.. isnt that the only flaw?
