Alright, so I picked up a MB Quart DSC480 to match my MB Quart DSC1500.1D and now I am having problems with its installation.
As an FYI, I had an infinity 4-channel that worked perfectly with the exact same connections.
Some how, I can get my rear 6.5" Alpine Type S coaxials to sound fine at times, but I'm mainly having problems with my front components. My 6.5" Alpine SPX-17REF will somewhat work, but then cut out and sometimes have an echoing.
Also, for some reason when I fade my speakers all the way to the front, one of the rear speakers will stay on. In addition, when I have the fade all the way to the front and balance the speakers all the way to the right or all the way to the left, only the front left component will play no matter the direction. Only when the balance is centered or near centered, the front right component will play.
Another strange thing that happens is that when I have my subwoofer turned "off" on the headunit, it'll come on when I start to turn up the volume. I have no idea why it would even turn on since it is connected to another amp and has a different set of RCA cables. I haven't had this particular problem either until I switched 4-channels.
Later today I am going to try a different ground and swap in a different amp for testing purposes, but so far I am pretty stumped. I think I may have a faulty amp, but can someone please shed some light on my situation?
