hey guys, quick question. I have a AVIC d2 that a while ago was causing alternator whine through the front rca's and long story short, just ditched the 4channel amp and powered the speakers off the hu. All was great for a while. Recently noticed the same whine coming out of my front left speaker/tweeter only. all other speakers sound fine.
My question is: Could a blown speaker or tweeter cause the system to try to ground through it, causing this whine? Seeing as its coming from only one corner of the car and not all of them, i dont imagine its a head unit problem. I know the whine is a common thing with the avic d2 (believe me, been though it plenty) but that is due to the rca's, and since im not even using them, im a bit confused at what might be causing the alternator whine though only one speaker
Thanks!
