problems downloading bogus music off kazaa?

know this is a bit off topic, but, i know there are a lot of people who use this forum and also use kazaa. im just trying to spread the word of how to spot and stop the RIAA.

The RIAA is currently spreading bogus and corrupted music on kazaa to stop us from downloading music.

go to download.com and download 'mp3 shield 2.2' this works with kazza, iMesh, Morpheus, and eMule. It eliminates all bogus, corrupted, or looped songs. it alerts u when ur downloading bogus music. And the best part is its free!!!

go to google and type in winmx, use that to download your music....its quick cheap and free. I had limewire then got rid of it for kazaa. Kazaa started geting the messed up songs so i switched to winmx and havnt had a problem with it yet.

Am I the only one here who just buys CDs instead of downloading music?

Don't get me wrong, with as many "artists" pushing junk albums out, there's little reason to buy their CDs for one or two good tracks. But there are others that $18 is NOTHING for the music you get in exchange.

... Then again, even In Flames' newest album struggles to live up to their reputation.

I buy stuff that I can't find anywhere online - some instrumental and orchestral tracks I have fall into this category. Same goes for small independent acts...I'll support them. But anything under a major label, sorry...

oh i buy lots of cd's... i hardly ever download... but when i can't find a cd i'll download it if i can find it... and if it's really good i'll buy it.. if it's not great i won't buy it...

Slody4Futbol's got the best idea. I'll admit that I do download 2 or 3, sometimes 7, songs off an album before I buy it. The point being, I do buy it, eventually. There are also times you just can't find the album you want. You try finding a Tristania album at Best Buy, Sam Goody, or anywhere in the US for that matter. Sometimes it just can't be done.
