Problem with Pioneer DEH-P6850MP

Hey, guys please help me out, I've recently installed Pioneer DEH-P6850MP in my car, and for some reason, out of the blue, when i insert a cd into the slot, the face plate just wont go back in. I have to detach it, then the thing will go back in place itself, then I have to put the face plate in. That's the only way that I can get it working. Weird huh? and when I turn off the car, the plate goes down itself to remind the user to take it out, when t does slide down, it doesn't slide back up (it usually does). This is weird, I wonder what I did to it that made it go crazy. I did reset the unit, but it didn't do anything.

If you know what I should do, please let me know.

I would call pioneer and see if they will fix it under warranty. They've been good to me, I've had 2 ribbon cables replaced and the cd loading mechanism all for free. I would guess it's a bad connection somewhere in the ribbon cable or on the faceplate itself...but that's just a guess.
