Hey
I am struggling to set up my Fusion CA-IP500 head unit. We are tring to hook it up to our 10" Encounter active sub unit (with a Polk 10" already swapped in)
The prob is that the head unit has only one single RCA subwoofer output (blue), while the enclosure itself has a pair of standard red and white R/L RCA inputs
Can you please advise which output to use- do I hook the sub up to the the "XM" outputs as they appear to be spare on the back of the head unit, and are bundled with the single sub line ? or do i just run the single sub line and add a single male to dual male cable to aplit the single to a double output for the sub ?
There are two other RCA line outs on the head unit, but they are going to my other amp to power the front and rear components.
Can you tell me what XM is- and what the dual outputs are for, as marke XM.., as the instructions and info on Fusion products are quite poor but then again you get what you pay for don't you !
Cheers for the help
Cheers
