Dc 275 alt _ _ _ vs irragi 300 i want to get a irragi 300 amp alt for $340 will it perform just as well as a dc 275???

All I can say is i've heard nothing but good things about Irragi alternators and even steve meade uses them. Personally im gonna be buying an alt from Excessive Amperage though im hearing lots of good things as they custom build the amp for you and will even powder coat if you want it to look pretty inside the engine bay //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i had an iraggi and will never go back to them. was very loud after about 6 months like the bearings were bad or something and when my rpm got into 4-5k ( when im going up the mountains on I-70) the voltage would drop to 12v, even with nothing on.

ha yeah if you watch some of steve meade videos he has like 4 300amp ones and atill has to rev it up............... i want to see what he even gets for numbers or if its not even that loud

irragi makes some great alts, but its very hard to get ahold of him when u do have a problem or any questions

Alright then by the vote of the people I retract my input about Irragi's. They don't even have a model for my civic anyways..

Ill let u know though how my Excessive Amperage one is though once I get it.

REALLY? in four years I don't think I have EVER heard a good thing about Iraggi. I know I will never consider Iraggi again after my experience... went through like 4 alts in a couple months, switched to an O.G. and have had it for 2 years now with no issues. Also, when I had the Iraggis tested we never got more than like 170A MAX (IIRC) out of their 300A version...

Dam. Yea as I search through it more seems like plenty of people arent doing so well with Irragi's. What brand is O.G.?
