Probably a simple question.

I know nothing about everything in the car audio world. If I were to buy the new Alpine X100 Head Unit and then use it with the 4 6x9 speakers in my car, and eventually I will buy a subwoofer for my trunk. Do I need an amplifier to go between my head unit and my regular speaker?

Is there like a diagram somewhere online that shows the order of cabling from all the units like, head unit to the speakers to the amp to the woofer?
