Pro Audio Tweeters??

I've heard budget bullet tweeters. Great for being stupid loud, hence their use in PA's. Not great for what we term as quality in a car. They also take up the same space as a 3-1/2" speaker. A full range 3" speaker would sound better overall and would be my choice for the same price.

Most of these style tweets from multiple manufacturers are almost identical.Id only use them if you intend to do a 2-way or 3-way setup with pa speakers. The great thing about them is they get loud off very little power 15-35 watts

i already sound good (Diamond Hex 6.5's , Polk Silk Tweets , CDT EX-470 passives on 150x2RMS) , ITS JUST NOT LOUD ENOUGH FOR ME!!! I'm gonna put a pair of selenium 6w4p's in each door and a single horn in each door. I just need to know if these are decent drivers. BTW , the pro audio setup will be ran active so i will be able to do any attenuation that may be needed very easily.

Exactly what i planned. 2 way active , (2) 6's and (1) horn in each door.

i briefly played with the larger audiopipe version of these the atx-4060 iirc. Very loud, eq ed them flat on my h/u and it took away the harshness. i wouldnt mount them on axis with you ear tho

I planned on a MDF baffle Low in the doors , with the tweeter between each 6" like this. [OoO]

Gonna have to cross above 5,000 Hz if u plan on giving them any real power I ran a pair of Selenium ST350 super tweets had them crossed above 6,500 Hz with about 50 rms per speaker and they will get loud but do tend to be very harsh at high volumes but they did allow me to hear the wrds and all over my substage which is why I bought them so I was very happy even if they have a few cons

dude , my uncle runs (4) 6w4p's and (2) st350's with dayton 4.5k passives off of a crescendo 1000C4 , if you think the ST350's were loud on 50 , you should hear his. LOL
