Primer is a disaster...PLEASE HELP!

i finished bondoing the fiberglass baffle on my enclosure, and did some layers of primer. I got really impatient, and did multiple layers without letting each one dry first. after i "thought" the layers were dry, i proceeded to sand, and ended just ruining the primer. its really bad now. a week later, you can still put your fingernail in the primer and it'll show. i attempted to scrape the primer off, but that will take forever to do the entire box. my dad is friends with a guy who owns a body shop, and he said he'd get the box painted the exact color of the car for free, but i want to remove all the primer and give him a good surface to work with. how do i get all the primer off? scraping with acetone jsut isnt cutting it. could i just body fill over the primer?

ahh man sorry to hear. at least it was fixable tho, so its all good. man, i just finished up some glassing for the first time and now i know what everyone means about the fumes. i feel like passing out.

good call. well four 80 grit discs of paper later the primers off, and the new layer of bondo's on and drying. lesson learned //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.
did you get any pics of the fu(k up? any pics now?
