Has anyone ever built one or played around in one?

They're pretty big in Vegas, and I think it'd be a hell of a lot of fun to have one to take out in the desert.

Somehow, I don't think these guys are worried about what you concern yourself with.

Also, I'm fairly sure that it's more than just welding/bolting whatever you want onto the truck.

Most use extensive long travel suspension components, 12 to 14" of travel doesn't seem like just bolting crap on.... to me.

the first truck you posted is running on a stock frame with a stock cab:fyi:

and when welding, you can make anything fit on a stock frame

Probably because most people that start out can't afford to throw $10K or more to a chassis designer. I know that I couldn't. You're talking about well into the $20K range after cost of the truck, chassis work, wheels/tires/suspension, fiberglass or bodywork...

exactly, low cost. this is why I said it would be a blasty blast:fyi:

maybe you need a translation?

Always wanted to try one. There used to be tours in mexico where they would rent you a prerunner and send you off into the desert to tear shit up...might have to check if they still have that
