i had 2 3004's and they were just last years model of your sub and i was throwing about 1500 to each and they took it like champs.

I have a 3002 D2 and it has taken 1500w with no problems at all. It starts to smell a little bit after about 15 minutes of beating the crap out of it, but turn down for 5 and you're good to go!
