Prelude

new preludes are nice, but all honda's are over engineered pieces of shit......civics are anyways.....but if it's an 80's lude they are very ugly....

May I suggest you buy American? After all, we're in a recession and every purchase counts towards a prosperous economy. Go for a manly beast like the new Trailblazer SS. I think we can agree that looks like a roaring monstrosity waiting to be harnessed.

I wouldn't bother with performance upgrades on any 4 or 6 cylinder (except an older Supra), you don't get much HP for the money. I spent 3k (s'charger, heads, cam ,intake) on my daily driven '91 Mustang and it runs mid 11s on drag radials, eats up Z06 Vettes and Vipers quite easily....not to mention stuuupid ricers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif

I think some nice wheels and a good tint job would look killer on that car with some good tunes....nice purchase

Rob.. just think if they put 3k into a Z06 or a Viper. Yea those could run in the 9's most likely.

But on the other hand, I'd rather save for a newer nicer car. Save up for when the new SS Camaro's come out in 2005. Those are looking to be bad ***. Or maybe a new Mustand. The new body style's they are making or so much better than the ones out today.

JUST SAVE YOUR MONEY.. you'll end up puttin so much money into that then it'll time you want a new car and you coulda saved all that money for a new one.

im going to disagree with you guys. go for the prelude...they are nothing like civics or accords. they are really nice cars and never die. my brother had an older one a long time ago. my dad got it new and it lasted about 12 years.....who knows how many miles...probably 200+ Real fun car to have.

Just a little side note to your comment on 4's and 6's. Using the 4 cyl turbo ford in a mustang can get you in the 12's for a lot less than 3k and do more than go in a straight line. Just saying there are other ways to get power than just dropping a v8 in everything.

Yea, I will say Hondas in General can be good cars if people arnt so stuck up with ther fast and furious little ways.... like slap a s'charger on any honda will bring you a lot more respect and way more respecable 1/4 times. But like evry other clown out there looks are everything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif i hate looks its completely re-dick cus people that know cars/work on them can simply tell how young people think "oh i have a little fart can thats it nothing else but, but my car can beat yours //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif.......

Hey Preludes are nice, all years. will admit the last gerneration before their death was the best looking, but it was Honda's pure sports car in the states, other than the Honda Integra but as the stupid people in the u.s. Acura Integra, i always call it a honda no matter what! but anyways back to ludes. they have 200ponies and are a very rarely tuned up car, i have a 90 it has flip up head lights but what i love about my lude is that its almost payed off so while people are payin on their civics and such ill be puttin money into kicking their ***, and one thing that is really nice, my tail lights have a JDM look, if you dont know this look its where the tail lights are red and frosty on top for the back up lights and turn signals, theres no amber in the plastic at all, and sinse i dont really like the look of flip up lights and i love silvia's i might do a front body conversion, but i want to get a Demon body kit for my lude before i make up my mind or maby make someway to make a low-profile headlight kit from a miata fit on my car. but anyways at the end of 2003 summer my lude will be old but it'll kick a brand new civic and who knows maybe a 2003 Honda Integra's ***! because the k20 in a 2003 Honda Integra (RSX Type-S) has 200ponies, but my car isnt limited to so much techno. so tune in for the future! =^) i am gonna start up my webpage making skills again and show the process of fixing up my car so e-mail me in like 2 weeks for the site address. my e-mail is HP525@aol.com

Peace OUT! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif

I'd like to see any mustang w/a 4banger engine running 12's for ALOT less than 3k?

Well, if you mean for the car and to be in the 12's for less than 3 g's look in the sport compact car magazines and you'll see their project "Silvia" and they bought the car for 800$ an american 240sx coupe and then bought a Silvia clip and put the wonderful SR20DET Engine in it and put all the silvia body peices and the 2 litre engine with a turbo easily pushed over 300hp and with a light sports car type body im sure it would give any mustang a run for its moola. heres a pic of Project Silvia:
