Hear is what I have come up with for my system so far. I'm doing a 3 way front stage with no rears for now. Keep in mind I also have the massive crossovers that come with the F17T's that allow you to use them even while running active, to benefit from the crossover's phase correction functions. However, with the wave alignment of the 24xs would I need that extra?
I've heard the F17T passive crossovers are very good, with 100's of different settings available, so I don't know weather I should incorporate them some how, use them alone and just go passive. I Just don't know.
I would very much appreciate feedback on my set-up diagram. Please let me know if I'm way out in left field and if my diagram looks like somethin Forest Gump might draw. Really, I would appreciate any and all responses.
My car is a 1997 Honda Civic DX 4 door, fairly well sound deadend (not quite finished with it).
My plan now is to put the 6.5" in the doors, for which I have built custom baffles that bring the speaker surface out about 2" from factory mount, which hides the speaker recessed below all this ABS molding.
I'm planning on putting the 5.25" in Kicks that I'm gonna take a shot at building myself.
Finally (well, not really finally), I want to put the tweets in the A pillars, but wire everything to allow for tweets in the kick and the A pillars.
I'm using 1/0 Stinger Pro power wire with a 150Amp circuit braker. the 1/O will terminate into a non-fused distro block and 3 4 gauge power wires will leave to their respective amps..........I can give more details later, in terms of my plan. But I still have many, many questions, some of which may be answered by your replies. Thanks for your time.
