Prediction for 1ohm stable amp.

I wouldn't say that there is a general rule for it. For example: Kicker and Orion amps usually double in power from 2 ohms to 1 ohm. Mtx amps gain about 50% more power and Kenwood amps push almost the same at 2 ohms as they do at 1 ohm.

What would be recomendation then? I am looking for an amp to power that type x of mine.
You only have one Type X and want a 1 ohm stable amp?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Type X is dual 4 right?

Actually there is a general rule for it. It is known to some as Ohms Law. And you are correct A drop of 50% should produce twice the power . Not all amps are capable of this but they all should be. That was the thing about most of the old school amps. You didn't have to wonder what the output would be at a given load. They would produce what they should and then some.
