Precision Power still puttin out good stuff?

I most certainly will. The fact is the line is a little more blurry as to what is a "good" amp. I dont know why people think you need to drop 600 bucks on a great amp these days. Thats just not the case. If you think that the stuff from 20 years ago is as good as some of the stuff that is out now you are on crack. Technology advances, components get easier and cheaper to make. The days of a few companies producing vastly superior amps are gone. The internet changed all that. There is a ton more information available to the average consumer than the old days. Use any electronic equipment as an example. TV? Gee I'm pretty sure the 32 inch you had 20 years ago is obsolete. Computers? We all know the answer to that one. Is it even reasonable to believe that in 20 years there isnt a better product out? Did the technology fairy skip over the car audio world? I think not. Smaller faster cheaper. Its the way things go. Compare the sizes of those amps from the 90's to now.

Enough with the soap box. I'm all about getting the most bang for the buck, and those ppi amps are looking mighty good. For the everyday user, I think they will work just fine.

There are several guys over on diyma that are running new ppi and ss ref amps and love them, I have used the S580.4 in some budget installs with great results, for the money brand new there hard to beat.
