Precision Power still puttin out good stuff?

Was wondering if there current amp line was reliable, see alot of people loving there old stuff. Interested in the PPI S580.4, anyone know if it would be a good choice.

no quality amp will do 150x4 for$150 but you can get dirty power that cheap all day long...youd be lucky to get clean 50x4 for $150

theres a reason people pay $300 for clean150 watt old school quality amps on ebay...theywould spend $150 to buy something brand new if it put out more power and did a better job...

funny how the old school 4x50's are louder and cleaner sound than the cheap 4x150's...go figure.....

Well i have a PR4400.4 now, the 3/4ch switch needs repair and i just set the front comps low by ear. When i check out the switch ima set them with the DMM. You think its best to just get that switch fixed and stick with this older memphis?

The specs look good on the PPi amp,I was looking at the Sadona 5ch earlier ,but I havent bought any new amps since 2006,and got jl 100 4ch.Whipped the wallet out for that joker,and later, it just wasnt as clean as my old school 4x80 that I had.Jl make good amps,but cost you,X-tant are some real B/A amps,beautiful sounding amps,just never shelled out for one.Old school SStream USA amps are nice/ADS/Alpines Duo-b/Audio Art,list goes on for old school..The TDH are almost nothing/DB are high.Why I was looking at the Sadona 5ch.Specs look pretty good,but havent used one or heard one yet:wow:

Those are good amps/memphis,Looks like 2nd line of amps made after the Fultron series,???Cant tell,but those are **** good amps too.IMO,I had a Belle that I got rid of back in96,that I kck myself in the A## everyday for...!!!! Why dont you have that Xtant hooked up bro??CRX..Even a pair of 2ch old school amps are great.4ch are a bit more,and you can pick up a 2ch easier.Ya that memphis looks nice.Is that a 50x2 maybe??
