Precision port.. how much is usable?

You need both sides flared.

So the flare would add around 3.5 inches of port for each flare, 7 for both, meaning you’d need a 5 inch piece in the center to get you to 12 inches of total port.

They want you to cut the center 5 inches short, which would account for a flare on both ends.

I wish they made larger ports. I personally like “big ass ports”. The flares are larger and they have bigger sizes. Expensive though. Used them on this box.
