Pre-Amp outputs + RCA Splitter Combo

I am unsure of how this works. I assumed that I would use four channels to hook up two mono block amps to power two subs with another two channels to power a 4-channel amp for my door speakers. This would require a six channel head unit. After looking at head units, some are designated like Front, Back, and Subs.

So my question is, should I purchase a four channel head unit? Wire it as two channels to my 4-channel amp for my door speakers and two channels into a splitter to my two mono block amps for subs? Or is there a wiring scheme I haven't thought of or read yet?

Thanks

no you get the 3 sets of rca from radio. you run your sub rca from radio to amps. you get a splitter to connect both amps.

or if your amp's and be strapped , you would need a small length of rca . rca out from 1 amp to the input rca of the other amp.

what im saying is you run your sub amps from your sub rca output from radio.

Alright, so wire the mono block amps to the sub RCA output on the head unit then either strap or split.

Now, what about these channels for Front and Back? I am using one amp to power all four speakers. Is there a preference on which RCA port to use? Or is there another way to wire my front/back speakers differently?
