I really don't know how fast he was going, I wasn't there. I know his bike tops out at around 80 and the other kid's bike does about 65. He was riding with some of his family, so I doubt he was running all out. The bad thing about this is it wasn't his fault in any way, the other kid was heading towards him head on, and cut across at the last second. I've been riding ATVs my whole life and they are usually safe as long as you don't ride outside your abilities or do something stupid, but this just goes to show anything can happen.
