PPI S2000.1D opinions

What is everyone's opinions on the Precision Power S2000.1D amp? Link Here

It says it will do 2000W RMS@1 ohm, it needs to be fused at 200a, and has 4ga. angled power and ground inputs. I'm skeptical about 2k running on 4ga. wire.

Use an inline fuse holder or fused distribution block with 0 ga inputs. You can't safely run a 2,000W amp on 4 ga power wire. BTW, we can get you that amp with fast shipping.

you can user reducers or add dual 0 gauge input terminals... but i doubt the 2k claim

I'm not 100% sure how much power I want for my next system, I figured that amp would power a pair of D4 XFLs nicely

not really sure, haven't seen any ppi monoblock in action other then the bk1800 and that one is 0 gauge.

We haven't had any Sedona amps in our store, but it seems to be 4 ga inputs based on photos and the PPI manual. This is their budget line, and I recommend the Black Ice Bk1800.1D over this amp.

i dont know why the budget line would be quite a bit more expensive then their higher lines. The sedona is only rated for 200 more rms with 4 gauge input to me that does not justify the cost of 100 dollars more.

eBay has the S2000.1d for $230, not a bad deal I thought, but if it only has 4ga inputs I highly doubt it does 2k.

That doesn't bother me, I have everything fused like my current amp didn't have an onboard fuse anyway. I really don't like the look of the sedona series much, the black ice looks much better IMO.
