does anyone know how many amps this draws? and maybe where i could obtain a manual. having a hard time with all the extras on this thing, especially the q-bass settings. noticed that it has a high pass filter on. why on earth would someone high pass a 1400 watt amp?

It is a bigarse 2-channel Class AB. That is why it has a HP filter. You could really rock a few comp sets at 4ohm. I had one for about 7 years.

I also have the manual, if you have a fax # I could fax it to you.

i have an xtant 4004a for comps and it is plenty. you aren't kidding about rockin' some comps with it. you'd need a monster for the subs to keep up. now with the 2 a/b's in there it pulls ALOT of power. can't find amp ratings on it though. as far as powering 2 type r's it beats the crap out of the viper i had. just need to learn how 2 properly adjust everything, and how much of an alternator i need now.

The manual states that the max fuse rating for the 2350 is 160A.

The Q-bass is basically like any other bass boost. I would use it sparingly if at all. If that is something that you would like to control from the drivers seat you can get a remote knob for it. I see them on ebay often. There is one on there now that ends in about an hour. They usually sell for around 30 bucks or so.

the q-bass boost will be turned down. it's the 4 buttons that get me. lots of different combinations on those. some pushed in, some out. they are not labeled. just not really sure what they are accomplishing.

Qbass plus, like on the 2350 gives you up to 18db of boost with selectable center frequency at 30hz, 36hz, 44hz and 60hz. Also a selectable Q of 2 or 4. Also can be used with a optional remote once the desired center frequency and Q is selected. All this is done by pushing in a certain combination of buttons. Qbass(unlike Qbass plus) was found on the smaller amps and had up to 12db of boost fixed at 40hz with a Q of 2. Qbass plus was actually a pretty cool tool.

There are four frequency centers that you can choose from. 30,36,44,& 60Hz. A "Q" of 2 (switch out) will give you a wide width of boosted frequencies. A "Q" of 4 will boost a narrow range of frequencies. The Q-bass will give you up to 18db of boost.

Switch 1 Switch 2 Freq.

in in 30Hz

in out 36Hz

out in 44Hz

out out 60Hz

I tried to space that stuff out to make it eaiser to read but it keeps taking out the spaces. Hopefully you can make since of the information.

Only the two switches at the top are for Q-bass. The 2 below them are for X-over on/off and -12db which is used if you are sending line level inputs to the amp.
