I have a ppi a600.2 that can do 600 x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged.

I have 2 JL 10w6v2's that are dual 4 ohm.

If i wire the JL's in series i whould get a 4 ohm final impedence.

Is it possible to use the ppi a600.2 with the my subs in the 4 ohm impedence to get 600 rms @ 4 ohms bridged ?

in order to get 300watts per speaker your subs would have be dual 2 ohms , for dual 2ohms you would have to wire each voice coil to seperate channels(left&right)those amps will only produce 600 watts @ 4 ohms bridged that means your speakers will not see the full potentail of this amp you will have to get either a single voice coil spkr or get 2 of those amps and put one amp per spkr or get an amp that will play down to 2 or 1 ohms

Umm.....no.

He has a pair of Dual 4 Ohm subs which can be wired to a 4Ohm nominal load:

Thanks for the help jrouter76. I guess i will just end up using my ROCKFORD FOSGATE POWER 1000 25 to life that can do 800 x 1 @ 1 ohm on the sub channel along with its other 4 channels for the speakers etc... really nice amp.

Its a shame i cant use the ppi a600.2 on these subs. I have 2 ppi a600.2's but dont feel like using to amps into 2 subs.

I wonder what to do with the ppi a600.2's....

Have any sub suggestions for the a600.2 ?

I currently have 2 JL 10w6v2's brand new ready to go but if i cant use them with the ppi a600.2 then i guess i will have to use them with another amp or sell them.

Please disregard what jrouter76 posted as it is patently WRONG

Ok who is right here ? lol

I whould like to think that the ppi a600.2 / 600 x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged can handle the 2 10w6v2's that are dual 4 ohm's each.

The 10w6v2's wired in series will give me a 4 ohm final impedence that whould match the ppi a600.2 right ?

Once I looked at the diagram its correct you actualy have 2 8 ohm speakers wired in paralell which gives you a final 4 ohm load, a little rusty on Ohms law...good heads up Prowler573
That's one wayto look at it, I suppose. Have no or at the very least minimal direct experience with dual voice coil drivers, maybe?
