i have 1 kicker kx1200.1 fo now. it calls for 1/0 gauge and it came with 150 amp fuse and i already have 300 amp under hood with 1 string of 1/0 gauge in car now. do i have to have 1/0 gauge in amp or can i use 4 gauge now from my distribution block to amp? it will only be like 8 inches from block. im trying not to run another wire off battery if possible for my other amp. Or should i just get another yellow top and put in trunk and hook amps off the back battery? thanks and sorry for loooong questions.

iirc the kx1200 has 4awg inputs

i looked at it when i first got it and it looks bigger. maybe just because i havent messed with stereo for few weeks. anyway the book calls for 1/0 to amp. ok, thanks anyway. i plan on getting another kx1200 soon or selling the one i have later and getting zx2500. thanks

yeah it'll be fine with 4 gauge. i ran one before. tuff lil bugger too.
