PPI 356cs Discontinued?!

What would it cost to run those PVI Speakers with the better of those two amps, through you?

if you are doing just 1 set ( which is all you should need ) the 2150 amp and the 6.5's would be 315-325 shipped 2 yr warranty on the speakers 1 yr on the amp...

The PPI's are harder to find with them being discontinued, so I'm looking for something in the range of them now. A good speaker around the same price. Seems like reviews pair the ID's in the same ball park as the PPI's, so I'm pretty sold of them. At this point I'm just looking for anymore reviews on them and how people feel.

i went from the ctx to the ppi and the ppi are way better in every departement beside midbass... they do drop lower and sound more precise down there.. just lacking midbass a little

I went ahead and grabbed the ID's. There's so much good stuff about them. I'm now trying to figure out which amp I want to push them. Let me know know you guys think.

I have a set of the PPI's as well as the ID CTX's. The PPI comps impressed the heck out of me when i first saw them but the sound let me down big time.

The PPI's look like the old a/d/s comps and have a very impressive crossover but they lacked midbass, power handling and quality sound.

I think they are worth the 130 bucks they go for but no way they are worth the 350 bucks they would retail for. If the PPI comps sounded any way close to what they look like it would be a different story. The PPI are rated at like rms and distort with higher wattages, its no wonder a/d/s and PPI are now gone. DEI has no idea WTF they are doing when it comes to car audio.

I like my CTX's much better compared to the PPI's.

I personally think it's messed up for the dealers, whose territories he is crossing and the forum members that are competing for sales.

i am not stepping on anyone really look at ebay? look at all the grey market non authorized sites like woofers ect sonic ect that i compete with for things i do sell. just to try and get people a real factory warranty vs a websites "warranty" i really dont make alot to be honest. and i have actually discussed the issue with several factory marketing people and they say i am well within the boundries, i use the forums as a medium of communication to do direct sales any dealer is allowed to do it they just don't, 90% of them want retail msrp or nothing lolz.
