Powering my infinity perfect 12.1???

I have two perfects running at 300 rms and they work great. If I was you I would get a new amp or new subs if you want, if you keep the gain really low then you won't get the whole frequency response. They will hit hard but won't hit on the higher frequencys well.

the gain is just to match the input voltage. It doesnt' really affect frequency response unless you clip the amp.

400w coming out of an amp with the gains high would be the same as 400w coming out another amp with gain set low. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

bah!.. that amp prolly doesent push 800 rms i estimate that it is about 720 max i dont think youll blow your sub with that amp.
Yes it will blow the sub unless the gain is almost all the way down. Their thermal rating is 400 watts i think which means the VC melts at that power level.
