Powering HDC3's

Will 2500w be enough for 2 HDC3 15's daily? The website says 1000w rms but I've heard on this forum that they need a lot more to get going. Thinking of switching from 1 btl 15.

I got an AQ 2200D on my one HDC315. I know another guy putting 2 1500 watt Sundowns one each of his.

they'll take more power in the right enclosure, but that doesn't mean they need a ton to get loud. You could always build on the large side to gain efficiency...

yeh i had ran my 15 on a aq 1200d with 4.5cf then a 2200d on it. it was a 2.7db difference
