Powering a RL-P 15

alright guys i ordered a hifonics amp but its on back order and wont be in for a while and only other amp this site i ordered from is another hifonics amp and its a 1500watt amp @ 1ohm and i was wondering if that would be pushing it for my RL-P15 please respond asap tring to make a decision before they close today thanks a lot

just because the amp is rated for 1500 watts doesn't mean you have to give your sub 1500 watts. set your gain with a dmm to 1000 watts (you'll never see this wattage anyways with music and impedence rise) also hifonics don't do rated power
