Powering 3 JL12's

I just ordered 3 JL12W3v2's and was wanting to know what amplifiers out there would be best at powering these on a budget. I have a Cadence Z5000 and read a lil on it ....shows only 750 RMS @ 2 ohms minimum impedence on website. The car audio shop told me that the W3 dvc's would work fine with that amp.....but think they were on assumption that the amp would be 1 ohm stable (but not sure). Not very good at conversions (especially w/ dvc's) so would these JL's wire down to a 1 ohm load, or were they being figured on a 2 ohm load? Does anyone out there have any experience w/ cadence amps? Will they accept an 1 ohm load without frying? And if they are assuming 2 ohm, would 750 watts rms be able to get a decent SPL? I am a oldie but noobie. When I was wiring components there was no dvc's lol. Been outta the scene for a while. Guess I need to get the old RVIP chart out. Any help would greatly be appreciated!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

Anyone? Hate to pay almost $800 for these subs & box and then have to turn around and buy another amp!!! Ordered them, but not paid for yet.

Dont get 4 12's if you dont have the room to make the right box. What car is this. Try looking at a Elemental Designs Nine.1 they push about 1400w/1ohm at 14.4v. 3 year warranty. You can find them with a few years left on the warranty for about 260$. Best power for your money. Depending on the coil config. of your 3 w3's you could even get a .75 ohm load for some serios power from that nine.1 they are .5 ohm stable daily and .25 stable for burps.

Well, I went w/ the 3 W3's w/ dual 6 voice coils, wired it down to 1 ohm. I am powering them with a Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1. At first they didn't seem any better than the Alpine Type R 15" I had. But then I realized I'm losing lots of SPL from the whole car flexing and rattling. I had none of that w/ the Alpine. It is a 94 Caprice. Huge rear quarters!!! Guess lots and lots of dynamat is next...
