Powerin Subs Question Need Help QUICK!

Friend just bought 2 of them Premier 3004spl,ok they rms at 1000watts,but the fool only has a Orion 1200d,So roughly around 600 for each will he be able to get away with this,If not I need to know cuz I am making a order tonight and if he needs a amp I would like to order it all at once

im running 2 off a jbl 1200 and its really loud, i would say he should be ok, but you can never have too much power

The best answer I can give you is it will become install-dependant (No, we've not seen THAT answer anywhere before, have we?)
You've got a pair of subs rated to accept 2000w RMS. You've got +/- 1200w to work with. Will those subs take more than you have to give 'em? Yup, they will. Does that mean they HAVE to have all they'll take to operate well? Absolutely not. My DAT 12" is rated for 800w RMS and I feed it 600w and it sounds just fine.

Put those Premiers in an apporpriate enclosure, feed them the 600w apiece you have to work with and you should be pleased....I haven't heard any of the SPL Premiers myself but I continually read/hear good things about them.
