Powerbass turn on noise?

When i start my vehicle, my amp turns on normally as it always has, but the thing is, it turns on with a rather loud noise for the first ~30sec. or so and shuts off(the noise, not the amp)..i was wondering what that noise was and if there's a way to reduce/eliminate this noise. im assuming its just my fan turning on but not sure..and im running a Powerbass 1500.1d @ 1 ohm.

is it cold out? i know my mbq dsc4125 is super loud for a little bit then quiets down, im quessing because its like -35 here

yea, its real cold here.. only like -7 right now. but its always happened since i installed the amp about 5mo ago.

turn the head unit off before you shut off the car if that doesnt work try a relay on the remote turn on circuit.

Its the fan inside of the amp.

My buddy had a Powerbass 1500.1 and it did the same shit, I opened it up, and took the bearing sticker off, and put a drop of 3 in 1 oil in there, and put the sticker back over it and it stopped.

dayum. i may be doing a little work on my amp then soon, cuz that ish is annoying and people honestly wonder what it is; its that loud...

Check your remote wiring. Try running it to your fuse box to see if that's what it is.

I know I've had similar noise before and using a different remote source fixed it.
