sounds to me like you bought a lower RMS sub and an underrated amp that does way more at 14.4v

Ignorance and misuse are valid arguements for them to warranty. I bet it was the 10 year old Chinese kid that put my sub together...he has a vendetta against me...he hates me and my unclipable amplifier, I know it. Bastards.

One fine day about a week ago i was driving down the road in my ferd explorer listening to some TI. Now my setup at that particular time was 1 PowerBass C-sql 15" driver in a 1.5^3ft. sealed box, the sub was mounted inverted, driven by an Ample Audio A226x (350Wr.m.s.@12v). The subs max rating is 800W. Well, i was feelin pretty good about my system so i decided to turn up the volume, mind you before that i've never gone beyond 20 on they volume knob. Well i turned it up to 25-26 and it was playin Loud, i mean, it was rattling things i didnt even know could move. Well after maybe 30secs to a min. my x filled up with smoke COMPLETELY. Upon later review my coil had been completely fried. WTF PB HAS BULLSHIT RATINGS AND i wouldnt doubt that their products are made by kids in sweatshops in china. Piece of shit, well now i'm down 100 bucks. So overall i would recommend this driver to anyone who wants a banging woofer.

The shitty product is the person using it, not the equipment. Learn how to play your equipment properly and you wont have that problem.

hmmm i had pbx 15's.. n had 2500 watts to each of them at one point.. at rms they barely move. i'm going on the fact that you screwed somthin up. i wouldnt bash such a highly set up corp.. so if powerbass sucks i guess your saying memphis as well.. i think you did somthin wrong bro.
