powerbass subs?

can anyone give me any info on these as far as quality and if they are loud, a friend of mine got 2 15's from a local shop and he claims they are good, and that there is no wattage to them and you can put as much power you want into them (

Well, first of all...

There are pretty good subs. A few people on these forums run them, and certain series (iirc the PB Xtreme series) are known to get loud...

On what your friend said... there is always a rated number for subs, however if you know how to correctly set an amp and all, you could theoretically send any sub any amount of power so long as you dont exceed its thermal limits...

thanks for the reply, yeah when he told me that it sounded like he was talkin out of his a$$
