Sold Powerbass EVOLUTION ES 12D 12" D4

I bought this NEW when I was going to make the move to a bigger power handling woofer in a 4-12" set up years ago but i sold My tahoe before the move was made...So here it is.

It is a EVOLUTION SERIES D4 WOOFER 450-750 RMS.....will take more unclipped power.

it is in the box which is a little from when the woofer was removed when I started my enclosure for four of these badboys but was then placed back into the box after the tahoe sold. I have tested it a few days ago and it sounds great off of 400 watts but wants more and wants to be ported.

Ummm...a compare....These do get loud but still maintain sq like sound to them.

the pb evo will smash an he2 in output and sq! i know from experience! it will get just as loud if not louder then a cvr in a fart box but sound 100 times better. type r will get it in output but not much and again the type r doesnt stand a chance in sq!

i havent used the ed12a so i cant say on it's behalf. the woofer that i find more comparible would be a jl w6v2! the sq on the w6 might be a slight bit better but output wise it will def be neck n neck. but the price differance is huge. remember i use to install and sell these all day long so i have a **** good idea of there capabilities!

I have installed a type R and was just not a fan got loud but did not sound good doing so. So without a doubt I would put the evo above the typeR.

here is one of the installs I did using the type r......now we are looking at going with a boston 10.5lf......I have both ported and sealed the type r and honsetly was not impressed.

i did a review on the 15" powerbass extreme i had...and compared it to my 15" brahma. if you wanna check it out it should be listed in the reviews. powerbass ain't no joke....i have heard that they are made by the same buildhouse that makes memphis....not too sure if thats true. all i know is the PBX i had was awesome...and extremely under rated. they like big ported boxes.
