First off I have 2 xs15's in 4 cubes each tuned to 38hz with 50sq in of port per sub on 2 orion 1200d's. I listened to some young jeezy,metallica,pink floyd and some random rap. As far as subs to compare to I have had 2 memphis pr10's, 2 L712's,4 powerbase 15's, and 2 cadence 12's. First I had to listen to young jeezy (soul survivor) which was the loudest to my ears compared to other subs I had which caused about an inch roof flexing and door flexing. Then I listened to metallica black album. The bass blended in fairly well with my hi's but the bass drums sounded a little muddy. Same thing when I listened to Pink floyd the wall. Overall I would give it a 7/10 for sq and 8/10 for spl. I am going to try and tune lower to about 32hz which would give me a flatter response and I will do another review.
