power with no fuse?

A guy is trying to sell an autotek ss490, he tells me the amp powers up but no sound comes out. I realized there's no fuses in it, what's going on? Is this fixable or are amps supposed to power up without fuses?!?!?! X.X

You need a fuse to complete the circuit allowing the amp to function.

There should be two 25 amp fuses in that amp.

u sure it's not an internal fuse, like as u have to open the amp to change the fuses? couldnt find any good descriptions/pics of it on google.

Thats a 590. That has three fuses. Your amp has 2. The amp turns on because alot of amps will power up because of the remote wire. Put fuses in the fuse slots, and the amp should work correctly.
