Power wire run for 2004 Ford Focus

I've got a 2004 Ford Focus. It has a manual transmission. I'm getting ready to start my build and am looking for advice before I get started. I hate jumping under the hood and spending 4 hours looking for some little hole. Does anyone know of a good place on these or a good place to drill out so I don't have to waste half a day trying to run a power wire?

It will take you 2 minutes to take a look under the hood, Just look for some kind of grommet, then take a peak under the driver dash firewall and see if you can see the grommet from the inside, cut a hole with a razor, and pass the wire through..

If not, just find a flat piece of space on the firewall, and drill through it.

itll take you a total of 5 minutes

One capable of drilling through metal; usually Titanium Nitride coated; diameter the same as the wire.

Don't forget a grommet.

I really want to do this right. I'm going to gut the car and run all wires before I start putting anything together. Now I've always tried to run my wires right along the door jams in the past. Am I better off just running right down the middle of the car under the center console and all? It's been years since I've done an install. Is it necessary to run the power wire and the RCA's as far from each other as possible. I thought I remember something like that in the past for sound quality?
